The Student Commons is your doorway to our discussion forums and the place to find announcements of special exhibits, events or contests.

In the Student Lounge, you can post messages to other visitors.  Introduce yourself and join right in.  You do not have to be a Quilt U student.  Talk with your friends, ask questions on quilting or related issues like "what sewing machine should I buy?"  You may leave announcements about events, but please do not post commercial messages.

Product Reviews allows to students to post reviews or questions about quilt-related products.  Guidelines are on the opening page.

Book Reviews gives you a chance to help others decide which new books they should add to their library.  If you are the first to write about a book, include the title, author, publisher, number of pages and price marked by the publisher.  Multiple reviews are welcome!

Current Special Displays and Virtual Quilt Shows

Family First
Enjoy family stories and quilts shared by our students.

Nature Rules
Whether we live in the city or the country, nature is a force to be reckoned with.  Plants stubbornly grow through cracks in the sidewalk or by the side of the road.  Why fight it?  Enjoying the natural world makes you feel better.  If you can't get outside, come visit this new exhibit.  It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Ninth Annual Virtual Quilt Show Winners
Our students showed off their best work from classes taken at Quilt University.  Visitors voted on the ones they thought were the best.

Cool Me Off
Snowflakes, penguins, cool mountain streams - those are just some of the things you will see in this exhibit.  If the summer heat is getting you down, pour a cold drink and feast your eyes on the work from our talented students.

Not Just for Beds
Bowls, boxes, bags, jackets, postcards - and so much more.  Don't miss this chance to see how creative our students have been.

Exhibit Schedule for 2010

For ALL exhibits:  When you your photos, include the name of the exhibit, your name and email, your hometown and any other information you would like us to have.  If you know the name of the block or design or the name of the designer if it is a commercial pattern, please include that as well.

Need some help getting projects finished?  Quilt U's Finishing School gives you a place to commiserate, cheer or get help from your friends.   It also features photos of projects finished after class closes.

If you are an alumni of any of our dyeing classes and wish to continue talking about dyeing, join your classmates in the Dyeing Forum
